PREVIEW: Liverpool vs Manchester City
After a terrifying start to the new season losing 3-0 to West Bromwich Albion Liverpool will be facing the reigning champions Manchester City at Anfield on 26th August.
Liverpool struggled in the last match of UEFA Europa before they scored an own goal 12 minutes from time. However, Daniel Agger will not be able to take part in the match as he was sent off in the last match when Shane Long was fouled.
Manchester City is off to a shaky start as well after they came from 1-2 to win the match 3-2. Liverpool with their awful home run last season where they gave too many points away. Rodgers stated that he would like to make Anfield a Fortress.
Both teams has a habit of conceding goals too easily however, Liverpool is hard scoring it too. Joe Cole, Anddy Carroll and Jose Enrique are likely to miss the game because of injuries. While Gareth Barry and Micah Richards are likely to miss the game too.
