"Carroll chooses new opportunity in Liverpool"

"Carroll chooses new opportunity in Liverpool"

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers remains probably the decision to keep Andy Carroll. In recent days, the 23-year-old striker linked with several clubs, but his personal preference is for a longer stay at Anfield.
The Italian AC Milan was recently named and former Newcastle United boss is actually interested. TheMagpies want the striker on loan recovery to St. James' Park. That offer is still on the table, but Liverpool is hoping for a permanent deal in order to create budgets for other players.
Clint Dempsey (Fulham) and Theo Walcott (Arsenal) are seen as options. Several players are eligible for a departure, but Carroll is high on the list. Besides the mentioned clubs West Ham United is also an option. The striker would however like to stay at Liverpool.
This writes the BBC . "It would be a miracle if we Carroll would sell, but you never know," commented co-owner David Gold. Rodgers in turn: "The reality is that we need to recover financially. If it fails, we do not have the possibility to attract players this time." "I respect players and give them precise information where they stand. Eventually the then down to the objective of the player.
I can only clear and the numbers 1 through 11 selecting, and developing players. I'll be honest, but the player must decide, "said Rodgers.
