Brendan Rodgers hopes to land new players in next 48 hours

Rodgers has been linked with a move for young Barcelona starlet Christian Tello and Nuri Sahin in the last few days and is hopeful to land few players to his young squad.

He said: "I am hopeful we can bring in one or two more to help the group here. I'll find out later. We hope in the next couple of days we'll have one or two coming in. Hopefully in the next 48 hours we will find out."

However, some of the players he has targeted in the last few days have been kept undisclosed because the targets are being hijacked.
